Guns with longer duty cycles can weld at their full amperage for longer periods of time without overheating.

Check the max current amperage and manufacturer of your welder. Using a gun with a higher amperage than your welder can cause damage to both.

Water Cooled—Water-cooled guns cycle water through the cable and the neck of the gun, which transfers the excess heat back to a radiator. This cools more efficiently than air-cooled guns, so you can weld for longer without stopping due to overheating.
